About the Sailor Manyo collection:

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of the latest Sailor Manyo Ink series, originally launching with the Manyo Pen “Third Edition” as a pen and ink set last month. This unique collection, inspired by foods from the Heian period as described in the Manyoshu, offers vibrant and evocative colors that celebrate Japanese culture and history.

Manyoshu, which translates to “Collection of Ten Thousand Leaves,” is the oldest and most revered anthology of Japan’s poetic compilations. Over a period of four centuries, 4516 poems were written by every class of person ranging from Emperors to merchants and farmers. “Manyo” is an abbreviation of “Manyoshu” and its meaning indicates people of all ranks.

I'm very attracted to this Manyo Ink.

when I started my fountain, pen journey, I didn't really realize how important ink was to the .functioning of the pen.. and one ink is not as good as another. Mid fountain pen exploration, journey.
I started to figure out what ink works well with white pens. At first I didn't like sellers Inc. it has a very strong smell, and I was afraid to use it in my vintage fountain pens, but I find that sellers Inc. is very reproducible from batch to batch, and it always seems to work in the beginning, I returned the first seller pen that I ordered, which was a wicked witch, it felt too rigid and it also felt too scratchy with the feedback I had made the mistake of getting an extra find a friend who loves sailor Inc. in certain Japanese papers turned me on to the fact that I needed at least a medium to get the experience I was looking for. Also, Sellers 18 karat 24 karat never seem to perform better than the 14 karat and much better than the steel. It's almost like it's a completely different company so I really liked my my Compass pens from sailor were their colors but then once I got a medium seller, pro pro gear. it clicked and I never have forgotten that feeling. I kind of have that feeling with my Lamy to thousand and I've discovered that you do have to pay a bit more or look for a good used pen to get her unique experience not given in the entry level pens I'm saving up my money, and I'm going to get ammonia in combination with a pen I really have a thing for this color of ink. I bought the Mont Blanc version of this ink similar color hue.

I also tried the seller minis. I feel like the seller mini 14 karat. nibs are superior to other sailor 14 karat nibs.
seller has a really great lineup of inks of various colors and they always work well they're not all over the map like some ink companies that I do adore as well but I rely on sailor when I grab and go to work I know that the cartridges are going to work in my pens. I know the inks are going to work, and I know that it's all predictable and gorgeous, and can be quite elegant and businesslike as well, so I appreciate that about sailor having such great combinations that one can rely on so now I have several sailor pens because I like to rely on them. Other pens are use for fun or for personal writing or for composing various creative things but the sellers Inc. and sellers pen are the best and know my idea that I had that I had that I had hated my first sailor pen and actually got rid of it has completely changed and I wish I had never gotten rid of it.

To me, this color is a burst of self-confidence yet. It looks elegant and interesting. It's not too late. It's not too saturated. It's a The. It's the very best. The three bears would've liked this in Goldilocks. ( humor).

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
