My go to ink.

I have been using Noodler's Black for almost 10 years. I like it's "Bullet Proof" qualities and dark black color. It doesn't dry as quickly as some other inks but I have no complaints.

Bought for watercolors

Perfect black color. Not 100% waterproof, maybe 95%. Individual pen strokes are immune, but color too thickly (for me, it was coloring in boba pearls and painting over it) and there was some smudging. Otherwise, I like it. It was recommended to me by a semi professional watercolor artist so I imagine there’s probably not much better out there. Overall, would still buy again.

Disappointing

Maybe I have a bad bottle, but it gives me some flow issues about 48 hours after filling my pen and it's a very desaturated black. In some nibs it looks almost grey.

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
