This is a beautiful blue ink. I have this in a Pilot Custom 823 with a medium nib. It seems to be reasonably wet and is able to keep up with the feed.
I’m white ClairefontaineI see a hint of purple undertone, but it’s a vibrant blue. On a rather ecru Midori paper, I don’t notice that purple undertone so much. By comparison Bleu des Profondeur reads relatively black on the Midori and has more of a blue bias on the white Clairfontaine.
There’s no bleed through or feathering. I’d like to try this next in my Lamy 2000 which also has a medium nib which comparatively writes like a fire hose, I believe this might work in that one quite nicely. This is a beautiful blue and could easily serve as my go to without a doubt.
This was my first real ink purchase and I love the color the blue is blueing and the sheen is semi noticeable depending on the paper
Perfect blue for me, dark, doesn’t lean purple, dries quickly. 10/10.
