Cave paintings represent the earliest known form of artistic communication, to the origins of human creativity. Drawn on the walls of caves thousands of years ago, these images represent hunting scenes, human figures, and animals, capturing the connection between primitives and their world. Each painted line tells stories of survival, spirituality, and a deep bond with nature. Cave art is a testament to the human desire to leave a mark, to convey emotions, and to communicate with the unseen. This fountain pen, inspired by the simplicity and primal strength of cave art, is the essence of humanity’s first artistic expression into its design. Its colors echo the earthy tones of soil and rock, paying tribute to an artistic tradition that paved the way for creative expression across millennia.

This blue/brown/orange fountain pen is accented by silver trim and a matching nib. The stainless steel #6 fountain pen nib is made by the German brand JoWo. In addition to several standard nib sizes, there is also a flex nib variant that allows you to alter the line thickness by varying the pressure applied to the nib. It fills via cartridge or converter (one is included), allowing you to use bottled ink.

Delta, the renowned Italian pen brand that has been creating stunning and distinct pens since the 1980s, has made a triumphant return after it ceased operations in the 2010s. This new Delta brand has been personally revitalized by Nino Marino, one of Delta's co-founders who also owns and manages Maiora and Nettuno pen brands. Each pen is handmade in Naples, Italy, and is individually numbered.
