I know I, like many people, absolutely love blue. I feel like there are so many different colors that I could never decide which would be my favorite. This set has a lot of really good blues, and the vials contained a lot more ink than I expected. So far my favorites have been Diamine Blue Velvet, and Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-Peki. Try before you buy!

I've only used the Colorverse Quasar, Noodler's Bay State Blue and Pilot Iroshiyuku Asa-gao so far. I've been extremely happy with the inks I've tried. I will buy the Bay State Blue and the Quasar in the future. The Asa-gao is also a great ink but the color is a little too light for my taste.

Excellent! I learned that there is more to ink than color. Some inks would write broader than the inks I have been using. For example, an ink in a fine nib would write more like a medium nib.

The ink sample sets are awesome! I shared them with my friend who is another fountain pen enthusiast and loves various inks.

Love the ability to test out diff brands of my favorite color before I spring for the big 30 ml plus bottles....
